Wagner Descendant’s Guide to Canton, Missouri
Canton, Missouri is where multiple generations and branches of our ancestors were born and lived and are buried. I’ve visited several times during my life, and it was the Homeplace for several generations. We have so many ancestors, cousins, aunts and uncles who lived here I cannot mention them all for this.
Here’s a travel report from a recent trip my cousin Ben Wagner took to Canton. The Wagner house on Lewis Street looks a little run down since the last time I visited, but the town is holding its charm. Ben discovered some interesting things that I didn’t know about including:
Public mural of Canton, Missouri’s Riverfront in the late 1800s (Facebook Page] and George M. Verity Riverboat Museum in nearby Keokuk.

I have already posted numerous articles and chapters about many of the people, so I will summarize here for your visit to Canton with links to the full versions that you can download/read separately.
